Hokkaido Univ. Alumni House”Enyu-Gakusha”

This building standing in the green field of Hokkaido University was planned as a symbol ｉｎ commemoration of the 125th anniversary of the establishment. This big curtain wall is 10 meters in the height. Due to the fact, the wall must be strong enough against high-pressure wind during typhoon. After repeated our experiments and simulations, we adopted steel flat bar which makes slender supporting structure and beautiful appearance. “The important thing is a passion as a designer”.
